Dennis Phillippi was raised in an itinerant circus family, and if called upon can still walk a tightrope while juggling chairs. He later dropped out of high school, toured as a stand-up comedian, and, in 1985, drifted to Memphis where he met his wife Janet and has never left. He was the house comedian at a couple of comedy clubs in Memphis, has written humor for various magazines in the Memphis area, and is the artist formerly known as Joe Cool. He is obsessed with sports, celebrity boobies and drinking.
Ric Chetter hails from south Texas, where he was a professional baseball player, private eye, and card player. For a time he was a television news anchor but found that it interfered with his facial hair experiments. Eventually Ric found himself in radio, but not before spending a time sleeping on Fox 13’s Tom Dees’ floor. It is unclear whether Mr. Dees was aware of this. Ric is believed to have the best set of pipes in the Memphis market, which he credits to years of smoking and drinking. He is obsessed with gambling and drinking.
Luca Lindner was born in Hungaria. It’s a country in Europe shaped vaguely like a kumquat. While she was a communist in her youth, she puts that down to youthful indiscretion, a desire to fit in, and of course, the belief in the redistribution of wealth to benefit mankind. She grew out of that when she decided she wanted a pony. Luca does all of the real work on Dennis & Ric, and yes, beyond a doubt she is hot. In the words of Dr. Stephen Hawking after meeting her; “Damn that chick is fly.” She is not obsessed with drinking but D&R are working on it. |
